Wizard Cyber is now an industry member of the UK Government Cyber Security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP). Managed by the National Cyber Security Centre, CiSP is a joint industry and government initiative that aims to increase the situational awareness of cyber threats. It is also designed to help reduce the impact of cyber crime on UK businesses of any size.
Confidential cyber threat information exchange
Cisp allows its members to exchange cyber threat information in real time, in a secure, confidential and dynamic environment. It is unique in that its members include cyber security companies and individual qualified professionals and consultants. The exchange of technical information related to current attacks is designed to both keep the industry up to date and provide much needed ‘grassroots’ intelligence to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
Adam Jones, Technical Director at Wizard Cyber, confirmed, “As a provider of outsourced managed threat and detection (MDR) services, we are at the sharp end of the 24/7 monitoring of known and zero-day cyber attacks on our customers. Largest cyber security collaboration in Europe
CiSP was launched in March 2013 by the Conservative/Lib Dem government as part of its UK Cyber Security Strategy. As of December 2017, over 4,020 organisations and 9,097 individuals have signed up to what is largest such scheme in Europe.

How do you contribute to the CiSP?
To become a registered CiSP member you must be:
- a UK registered company or other legal entity which is responsible for the administration of an electronic communications network in the UK.
- sponsored by either a government department, existing CiSP member or a regional Cyber PROTECT police officer or industry champion.
