Yes. You’ll explore Microsoft Defender for Cloud modules, analyze real threats detected in your environment, and get practical experience configuring cloud security protections.
This engagement is typically structured as up to six one-hour sessions, scheduled across a few days. Sessions cover planning, data collection, threat and vulnerability analysis, modular labs, and final recommendations tailored to your organisation.
If eligible, this engagement is fully funded by Microsoft. We’ll confirm eligibility and ensure any Defender for Cloud trial usage is optimized so you can participate at no cost.
Yes. The Cloud Security Envisioning Workshop allows you to select two out of seven Defender for Cloud modules — including Servers, Databases, Storage, Containers, App Services, AI Services, and Security Exposure Management — so the engagement is tailored to your environment and priorities.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud integrates with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, but we’ll align on compatibility if you already run third-party antivirus or endpoint detection solutions. This ensures you can see Defender’s value without disrupting your current setup.
Yes. While the workshop is Azure-focused, you can connect AWS or GCP to Defender for Cloud to explore Microsoft’s multi-cloud security capabilities. Note that enabling these connections may incur additional costs outside of the engagement.
The engagement is designed as a short-term, timeboxed experience. By default, you’ll decommission the configurations at the end. However, if you want to continue using them, we’ll provide guidance on ongoing licensing and propose follow-up engagements for full production readiness.
