Wizard Cyber has welcomed its first intake of eight students onto a comprehensive training programme in cyber security. The fifteen-week course teaches knowledge and practical skills using Microsoft products, and is aimed at recent graduates looking to start a career in the field.
Cyber security is a critical concern for businesses, and demand for skilled professionals continues to rise. The Wizard Cyber Training Academy gives graduates a route in, with a curriculum covering risk management, threat protection, identity and access management, and incident response. Students take exams in SC-200, AZ-500 and MS-500, which are widely recognised and demonstrate expertise in Microsoft security solutions.
Microsoft's security suite is broad, and students learn to use it properly — from endpoint protection through to identity and cloud workload security. Alongside that, they work with experienced professionals in a real-world MSSP setting, applying what they have learned rather than only studying it.
The programme's focus on practical experience, guidance from working analysts, and recognised certifications makes it a strong starting point for anyone entering the field. With attacks continuing to grow in number and sophistication, that grounding matters.
